To the Army, Navy, and Air Force Health Care Team:

While the fundamental principles remain the same, the practice of health care in operational environments is sometimes different than in a garrison environment. As military medical providers, we must be expert in both types of skills.

Operational Obstetrics & Gynecology has been designed to help with these skills, as a training tool and as a ready reference. Produced by some of the Armed Forces' most knowlegeable practitioners, it is particularly suited for use during and in preparation for deployment.

I encourage those in the Army Medical Department, and our associates in the other uniformed services to make good use of this valuable resource, providing for the health care of women in military settings..
