I started the Original Operational Medicine Website in 2006, and designed it for desktop use.
While it continues to contain valuable information, the proliferation of mobile technology has demanded changes in website design to enable access by those using tablets and cell phones. It also requires some updating to incorporate newer developments in medicine, newer resources, and to better delineate those teaching resources that may still hold important content, but are dated.
The updating and reconfiguring has begun.
But nearly 1,000 visitors a day come to the Operational Medicine Website and hard-wired links to these pages are both abundant and beyond my control. Over time, as I replace the old static webpages with the new responsive pages, the number of the old pages will steadily decrease. If, in the same visit, you see some old and and some new pages, it wouldn’t surprise me.
