Operational Medicine was designed to be a repository of medical education materials, focusing on military and similar settings.

Most medical and nursing care in isolated settings is the same as in conventional settings, but some is not. It is this “not the same” part that will receive the most attention on this site.

I started this website in 2006 as a place where I could make available my collection of texts, images, videos and other resources which I accumulated over many years. Some is still current and valid, while others show their age.

I’d be delighted to receive comments or feedback, particularly if there are sections that should be modified or deleted. I also welcome new material for inclusion.
