Stress

Working in operational medicine can be stressful and occasionally heartbreaking.

Such problems as professional burn-out, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, sleeplessness, anger management and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are not rare, but are common within our profession.

US Marine Corps Combat Stress

US Army Leaders’ Manual for Combat Stress Control

War Psychiatry (from the Borden Institute)
