This video was produced by the Naval Medical Education and Training Command, Bethesda, Maryland, in 2003.

This video discusses the art of doing a good case presentation at Morning Report. Three scenarios are demonstrated:

  • A patient who came into the hospital during the night.
  • A preoperative consultation with a patient about to go to the Operating Room.
  • A postoperative conference where the surgery is being discussed.

Emphasized are the important presentation qualities of coherence and efficiency, to maximize the understanding of the case, in a time-efficient manner.
