Management of Pregnant Servicewomen

This is the definitive guide to administrative management of the pregnant servicewoman. Released 21 February 1989, and revised (3-hour rule extended to 6-hours).

This notice provides guidance on the form and content of the annual physical exam for women.

Personal hygiene products are defined as "non-infectious waste."

Prescribes that a pregnancy test be performed on all female prisoners taken into custody as military prisoners, nonmilitary Federal prisoners who are provided emergency care, enemy prisoners of war and other detained personnel, and awardees assigned to correctional custody units.

This publication provides guidance on women's health issues, including pregnancy policies.

This instruction implements AFPD 40-3, Family Advocacy Program (FAP). It describes the responsibilities of FAP agencies and staff. It also outlines procedures for administering the FAP. This instruction applies to all military and civilian personnel and their dependents entitled to receive care in a militaryf acility as specified in AFI 41-115, Medical Programs and Benefits.

It prescribes procedures and references the authority for retiring, discharging, or retaining members who, because of physical disability, are unfit to perform their duties. This instruction applies to all applicants for military service, scholarship programs, United States Air Force Reserves (USAFR) and Air National Guard (ANG) when published in the NGR (AF) 0-2.
